I'm a teacher and translator by profession. I hold a master's degree in English. Since graduation, I've been freelancing as a translator/interpreter and translation tutor at a university. In December 2004, I completed the ICC's International Coaching Certification training and was awarded the ICC coach certificate. Ever since, I have translated for and interpreted at local and international ICC events, including coaching trainings and sessions held by foreign trainers at different levels. I support my local ICC trainers as a course assistant and supervisor. I have also invented a four-day language workshop for coaches who intend to work with English-speaking clients. Partnering someone in their change, the change that you contribute to, but which is totally dependent on your client's decisions and resources, is the most rewarding experience a person can think of. Having translated for the ICC and having participated in coaching trainings and sessions as an assistant, I finally understood that this could also be my way. You might think it a bit hackneyed to say but being a coach to people, whatever their function or wealth, I can modestly embark on changing the world for better.
